porträtBorn in 1975 in Lucerne, Switzerland. Grew up with a brother, two sisters and parents, who not only had an eye but also an ear on the little girl’s musical talent.

porträtStudent of Francoise Zöldy at the Basel Music Academy. This led to a teachers diploma in 1995 and a concert diploma in 1996 (both with honours).

Scholarships of the "Migros Genossenschaftsbund" and the Dienemann-Foundation Lucerne. Further studies with Prof. Erick Friedman at Yale University School of Music could be realized. In 2004 an award from the European Foundation of Culture was given for outstanding artistic talent and great musical achievement.

porträt1997-1999: student of Sylvia Rosenberg at Manhattan School of Music New York. Master of Music degree. Chambermusic and Master classes with Piero Farulli, Franco Gulli, Gérard Jarry, Miriam Fried, Peter Oundjian and Rainer Kussmaul.

porträtVarious prizes at the Swiss Youth Competition. Member of several Youth Orchestras like the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra directed by Claudio Abbado, Lucerne Festival Orchestra, Orchestre Européen du Festival Aix-en-Provence among others. 1998-2017 member of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and since 2003 also playing with the Lucerne Festival Orchestra (LFO) founded by Claudio Abbado.
Appeared as a soloist and chambermusician at the Lucerne International Music Festival, with the Festival Strings Lucerne, at the "Foundation for young artists Meggen", the "Young Artists in Concert Festival" Davos and collaborated with chambermusician Christian Altenburger and Diemut Poppen at Berlin Festival.
